Interior Design Services

The secret to any successful design project is a deep understanding of a client's lifestyle, as well as their goals, dreams and aspirations. This holistic approach, combined with well-defined goals, positively impacts the flow of the creative journey and elevates the client experience. Our process is thoughtfully designed to ensure that every detail is well-taken care of, from the discovery call to the big reveal and everywhere in between, ensuring your peace of mind.

Phase 1. Define the journey

Phase 1 starts with a kick-off meeting at your residence.  We'll delve deep into your questionnaire responses so I can understand your dream home environment wish list. We’ll clarify and define goals, discuss your likes and dislikes and narrow down your aesthetic if you're having trouble deciding.

During this phase, we'll view more inspiration photos of room layouts, color palettes, furnishings and materials to determine the design direction. If your project entails construction, we'll furnish you with support documents for contractor bidding.

Phase 2. Design phase

Everything uncovered in Phase 1 is implemented into a design plan during this phase. The goal is to weave together a cohesive story punctuated by surprising, unexpected moments. We'll select and source all the dreamy details, for example, beautiful and durable furniture that stands the test of time, elegant fabrics and finishes and architectural details and millwork that enhance your house’s architectural history. I

’ll present product samples of rich fabrics, surfaces and textures to feel between your fingers. I’ll present photos for selections when samples aren’t available.

You’ll view elevations and floor plans that bring your dream house to life, helping you envision how your home will look and feel, and I’ll provide insight into what selections cost so you can have a realistic idea of which items fit into the project scope and budget.

Phase 3. Ordering and Project Management

During this phase, all your selections for installation by contractors, such as cabinets, sinks, vanities, flooring and countertops will be purchased, with the exception of accessories purchased during Phase 4. We’ll track and coordinate delivery shipments and resolve any issues that arise.

Collaborating with your contractor, we draft a contractor guide and do periodic site visits to ensure they execute design directives to your exact specifications. If any installation or design issues arise, we provide peace of mind by stepping in and assisting with problem-solving and working with your contractor to find the best solutions.

As project managers, we’ll track expenses, manage the budget, record invoices and receipts, keep tabs on your budget and receive regular status updates throughout your project.

Phase 4. Final touches and the big reveal

It’s time to put the final touches on your dream house. During this phase, I'll hand-select beautiful accessories and sophisticated decor that coordinates with your aesthetic, reflects your style and adds personality to your home. We'll start by creating an inventory of the accessories you already own––artwork, souvenirs from your travels, family photos and heirlooms or perhaps a couple of air-purifying plants.

Next, I'll hand-select and purchase additional accessories you love that complement your decor style and manage the delivery and receiving. With so many beautiful accessories placed around your home on install day, you’ll feel like you’ve moved to an entirely new home designed exclusively for you.

Of course, we'll be onsite to ensure everything comes together perfectly without a hitch for the big reveal––and if we need to resolve any deficiencies or offer post-install design support, we’ve got you covered.
